About Us
One builder. One project at a time.
We've been doing this since 2008 — and the way we work hasn't changed. You deal directly with Eli, start to finish.
Our Story
Built from the ground up.
Carolina West Construction was founded in 2008 by Eli Anthony, a Western North Carolina native who grew up around the trades. After years working alongside experienced builders across the region, Eli started his own company with a simple belief: the best buildings come from builders who stay involved at every step.
From the first conversation to the final walkthrough, Eli is on every job. Not managing from an office — on site, with the crew, making decisions in real time. That's not a selling point. It's just how we work.

The Builder
Eli Anthony
Founder & General Contractor
Eli has been building in Western North Carolina for over 18 years. He holds a general contractor's license and has personally overseen every project Carolina West Construction has taken on since day one.
He's not a salesman. He's a builder who happens to run a company. When you call Carolina West, you're talking to the person who will be on your job site.
How we work.
Direct access
You work with Eli — not a project manager, not a sales rep. One point of contact, every time.
Trusted trades
We've worked with the same subcontractors for over 15 years. They know our standards. We know their work.
We finish what we start
Every project we take on gets completed. No exceptions, no excuses.
Honest estimates
We tell you what things cost before we start. No surprises mid-build.
"When we start a project, we finish it."
Let's talk about your project.
We take on a limited number of projects each year so we can give every client our full attention. If you're thinking about building, reach out early.
